Our History

Ryedales are based within Manor Walks Shopping Centre in the heart of Cramlington, established in 1987 we are one of the few remaining second generation family owned Estate Agency professional practices operating within the North East of England with an expansive knowledge of the local area gained over years of experience handling all aspects of property related matters. We pride ourselves in providing a professional and friendly service to all our clients whether sellers or buyers, landlords or tenants or those seeking our surveying expertise. Although our main office is based in Cramlington, and our survey department located in Newcastle upon Tyne with the aid of advanced technology we are able to provide services for clients throughout Northumberland.

Our Local Area

Cramlington is a town and civil parish which has developed over many decades from it’s original village setting into the vibrant and attractive town it is today, tastefully and sympathetically blending the old with the new, retaining many green spaces and parkland, allowing easy vehicle and pedestrian transit throughout the area.

The village has retained it’s own unique charm with period properties and the church of St.Nicholas at the centre which was built in 1868 to serve the mining community at that time, although the religious connections to the site can be traced back to the 11th century whilst the town provides excellent residential housing and is served by numerous amenities including schools, medical, leisure, hospitality, retail, commercial enterprises within the expansive Industrial Estates and public transport services including the main East Coast rail link between London and Edinburgh, whilst boasting it’s own nature reserves, the 18 Hole golf course at Arcot Hall, the state of the art Cramlington Hospital and trauma centre and the 19 hectare Northumberlandia countrypark on the door step.

Lying some 10 miles North of Newcastle City Centre and 6 miles West of Newcastle International Airport with ‘A’ class road links throughout the County, the town provides excellent access to the coast, award winning beaches and the stunning Northumbrian countryside.
